Welcome to Berkshire Elementary School!
Berkshire opened it's doors for students for the first time in 1954. As of this year, Berkshire has been serving the community for 51 years!

Many physical changes have taken place at Berkshire over the past 51 years, but one thing remains a constant: Berkshire Elementary Teachers and Administrators are committed to providing the best possible education and learning environment for every child

Mission Statement
Our mission is to build a strong instructional program that meets the needs of all students. This will be achieved by working together collaboratively, sharing responsibility, and fostering mutual respect to build a learning community that helps each child be a
successful lifelong learner.

Registration for Berkshire Elementary School is available between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily. Register your child now to avoid the last minute rush prior to the opening of school on August 27th for students. You are invited to contact the school office at 410 887-7008 to schedule an appointment. When registering your child, you will need to present:

Proof of residency (such as a tax record, deed, or lease with photo identification and three proofs of residency);
Certificate of birth; and
Immunization record

Seats are still available in the pre-kindergarten program. A child’s date of birth must fall between 9/2/02 through 9/1/03 to be eligible for the pre-kindergarten program.
